1. Declutter-clean closets,clean out garage,pack away small personal items.
2. Clean windows and mirrors.
3. Clean carpeting,floors and furniture.Make sure there are no odors.
4. Get pre-sale home inspection-make necessary repairs.
5. Groom lawn/landscaping.
6. Paint-fresh neutral paint does wonders and very economical.
7. Locate all necessary paperwork regarding home-warranties,mortgage,taxes,etc.
Staging is very important in preparing a home to sell. Remove most personal items(pictures,etc.) so sellers can picture themselves in the home. Always have the home clean and brightly lit.
